Scott College of Business - Indiana State University
Scott College of Business - Phase 2 Addition |
The project has exceeded expectations. Don Scott (the namesake of the Scott College of Business who provided the lead gift for the project) commented, "I thought it was going to be amazing when this all started, but it turned out even better than what I expected."
The building included many traditional art deco architectural elements that were preserved and integrated into the design. Of special note is a historic wall mural in the courtroom of the signing of the Magna Carta that was cleaned and restored.
The project is a nice melding of new and historic design. New spaces were created using glass partition systems that, although sleek and modern, allow new spaces to be created while providing visibility to the original historic elements of the building.
